Current status and outlook for global warming
Since the 1970s, global CO2 emissions have increased sharply, and the amount of CO2 accumulated in the atmosphere is accumulating. It is estimated that the amount of CO2 accumulated will reach 1 trillion tons in 2030. Even if CO2 emissions are reduced after 2030, the amount of CO2 accumulated will continue to increase, and is expected to expand to 1.3 trillion tons in 2050 and 2 trillion tons in 2100. Global warming will not stop if things continue as they are.
Reduction of CO2 accumulation and halt of global warming through GX-Project
The solution presented by the GX-Project for global warming is to simultaneously promote the reduction of CO2 emissions and the increase of CO2 absorption. The GX-Project will simultaneously promote the reduction of CO2 emissions and the increase of CO2 absorption. In 2100, it will be possible to suppress the amount of CO2 accumulation to 1.2 trillion tons, the same as in 2050, and to reduce the amount of CO2 accumulation thereafter.
GX-Project Promotion System
The corporate consortium that promotes the GX-Project is the GX-Group.
The GX-Group, which has the technology to manufacture carbon-neutral fuel, will partner with the Tottori University Faculty of Agriculture (Professor Kinya Akashi), which is researching desert greening technology through Jatropha cultivation. In addition, various companies necessary to promote the GX-Project will participate in the GX-Group. The GX-Project will work with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under an All-Japan system, and will be deployed in Saudi Arabia, India, Africa, and other countries.
